I wonder how the Johnson's spelled his name?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2683635484532947257.post-49308796465279149012008-06-30T16:50:00.000-05:002008-06-30T16:50:00.000-05:00I thought that his name was spelled "Poike" but wh...I thought that his name was spelled "Poike" but who knew... we were kids! As I vividly recall, I was retrieving YOUR tricycle that you left at the Nelson's. Perhaps he was just running over to say HELLO but his mouth was wide open as he came at me! Since he was my best friends dog, I don't remember being afraid of him before that day. As for Coffee, do you remember when she bit out the seat of Mike Richardsons pants as he tried to run out of the yard? I remember our parents telling us that she was going to "live on a farm"...I guess it was that big dog farm in heaven.......Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2683635484532947257.post-33299566760618151902008-06-30T08:14:00.000-05:002008-06-30T08:14:00.000-05:00I know how you must feel and I sympathize with you...I know how you must feel and I sympathize with you. The loss of our companion animal for so many years is heartbreaking. You'll feel an emptiness in your heart. You have other campanion animals that may need the extra attention now. Celebrate what Molly gave you...all those years with her.

As I remember you had Nina the cat since she was a kitten. I think she lasted 19 years as did Amanda. My Terraza cat I found in 1986 as a kitten passed away only after about 14 years. That was my first companion animal that I watched from birth to death. I think I cried for a week.

Molly's memories will comfort you now. You both had a special relationship. Having compassion for animals and the joy they bring us is worth the short journey through time that they spend with us. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.nirvana cowboyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04557379587660219760noreply@blogger.com
