It's a gorgeous day here in South Florida today. No rain, no oppressive humidity, no high heat, it's just perfect. So perfect and pleasant that it didn't even bother me that I had to go to the eye doctor this morning and have things shined and poked into my eyes. It didn't bother me that I had to sit in that waiting room with a bunch of infirm old retirees from New York, one of which I'm sure was coughing up a bucket of mud. It also did not bother me that Mark was bitching and moaning the whole way as he drove me to and from the doctor's appointment. Well mostly Mark didn't bother me. When he slowed down to a near stop on the expressway because "The road is too curvy!", I didn't say a word. I did, however, scream just a little bit when he threatened to slam on the brakes because "That big truck behind us had better slow his roll, and get off my ass." It's all great now, I am home in one piece and the doctor said that the surgery he performed in January improved the clarity of what vision I have left. Life is beautiful.
I'm glad to hear the surgery helped. Your yard looks lovely.
