That is the dog beach at Wilson Avenue in Chicago. It's where the old boat ramp that my brother and I used to launch our sailboat was. They filled in the boat ramp with sand and built a huge beach that goes out around a hundred yards into the lake. It's fenced in for the dogs.

ReplyDeleteAlso, Peggy, dogs don't fight if they are off the leash and don't feel trapped. Out in the open they are just a bunch of happy fur-balls.
