Garet, I dumped it in the garbage can and the next day the garbage men took it away to either the landfill or the incinerator where it was either squashed in with the rest of the trash, or burned and turned into ashes. It was dead.
Al, I guess you must listen to the wrong T.V. news. It was repeated many time that when it gets cold, the gizzards(Iguanas)fall from the trees in a hibernation type of state.When I saw this report and the pictures of south Florida Iguanas falling from the trees, I pictured Al out in his back yard being bombarded by stiff Iguanas. It did make me laugh out loud. I wonder if it survived the tons of garbage. Just think what would have happened if you had buried it. You would have been worried that it was coming to get you when you found the empty grave.I'm surprised Mr. Peta didn't know this(Garet).
It was also said on the TV news that after two days of under forty degree temperatures, the things would die. We had three days under forty. Trust me, that thing was dead, as were hundreds all around the neighborhood. Chandler is still finding their rotting corpses.
No wonder those cats that you have in your yard don't want to hunt them - they are bigger than the cats and some dogs too! LOL sorry Mark, but it was really funny!
