Nice photo. How things have changed.
I don't see much clutter, how come? Also, you seem to be dressed rather nicely, how come?Boy does time fly...
No clutter because no Mark. The house wasn't decorated very nicely, but it was NOT CLUTTERED UP WITH CRAP! I am dressed nicely because I had just come home from work. Remember when I worked?
I see Mom was admiring your lovely floral couch!!!!
That was where she and dad slept that night. It folded out. A good son would have given them his bed.
No, I don't remember when you worked, but I do remember when you had a job.
Could it be your cats?
The place was uncluttered because at the time I, with my minimalistic decorating philosophy, was living with Alan.
No you weren't. You were renting the studio apartment across the hall. I was living alone and loving it.
Oh right. I guess your decorating sense rubbed off on me.
Garet, your minimalistic decor means "cheap" decor! hehe
Russell: As the fabulous artist that you are, should have heard of Mies van der Rohe. Milimalism is the quintessence of refinement in decor. Remember the term "Less is more.?"Juxtaposed to minimalism, clutter is "crap." I guess this is part of the reason that Alan hates shopping, especial for crap.Minimalism is not necessarily "cheap" as you state, however there does exist inexpensive decor which looks just as good as some pricey decor. But what does it all state in terms of who one is? Is one "cheap" if their home consists of only piece of furniture worth $20,000.?I have no use for expensive decor. I would rather make my own furniture and ask $20,000. for it.We need to have a drink and converse more on this topic. Don't you agree?see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minimalismalso:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ludwig_Mies_van_der_Rohe
Garet bitch-slaps Russell for that comment. hehe
Garet: You are right. You are a bitch if you slap me... hehe
