No clutter because no Mark. The house wasn't decorated very nicely, but it was NOT CLUTTERED UP WITH CRAP! I am dressed nicely because I had just come home from work. Remember when I worked?
Russell: As the fabulous artist that you are, should have heard of Mies van der Rohe. Milimalism is the quintessence of refinement in decor. Remember the term "Less is more.?"
Juxtaposed to minimalism, clutter is "crap." I guess this is part of the reason that Alan hates shopping, especial for crap.
Minimalism is not necessarily "cheap" as you state, however there does exist inexpensive decor which looks just as good as some pricey decor. But what does it all state in terms of who one is?
Is one "cheap" if their home consists of only piece of furniture worth $20,000.?
I have no use for expensive decor. I would rather make my own furniture and ask $20,000. for it.
We need to have a drink and converse more on this topic. Don't you agree?

ReplyDeleteI don't see much clutter, how come?
ReplyDeleteAlso, you seem to be dressed rather nicely, how come?

ReplyDeleteThe place was uncluttered because at the time I, with my minimalistic decorating philosophy, was living with Alan.
ReplyDeleteNo you weren't. You were renting the studio apartment across the hall. I was living alone and loving it.
