Once a month our little town has 'Art Walk', where artists team up with merchants, to display their creations in the various stores, restaurants, and clubs on Wilton Drive. It is festive, and fun.
Wonderful! You should have entered that Jackson Pollack style washtub splashed with spray paint that was in your laundry room. You probably would have sold it!
Julio used to work at Home Depot with me. I am glad to see he is pursuing his real interests. His portraits are not really my cup of tea either, but I like his abstracts. He isn't too rough on the eyes himself. :)

ReplyDeleteI miss the art walk, it was just growing when I moved to Southern California. We do have them here, but not so close to my favorite hangouts.
ReplyDeleteThat first group of pictures looks just like the ones we used to do when we were kids! Who knew it was really art when we hung it on the fridge!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's our friend, Julio. The crap on the fridge was art, to us.

ReplyDeleteJulio used to work with me too. Wow he is living the life of an artist.
ReplyDeleteJulio still has a job (at a paint store) which pays the bills. Oh yea, Julio worked with me a couple of times also.
ReplyDeleteHey guess whose coming to Tampa area on April 14-18? Me
ReplyDeleteOh my Gawd! Garet's coming to Florida. Why Tampa. Got a hot internet connection?
ReplyDeleteSeems that Julio gets around. Hmmmmmm.....
