I lost another one this week.
Fat Kitty was just fine when we got home from Chicago, but two days later she suddenly got sick. We only had her for four years, neighbors across the street moved out and left her behind so I took her in. She was such a good cat even Mark liked her.
Oh Alan I am so sorry. She was such a nice cat.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry for your loss. I know it leaves an empty space not only in your home, but in your heart.
ReplyDeleteFat Kitty, rest in peace.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about Fat Kitty. It is sad to lose a long-time pet/four-legged companion and family member. You will be expecting to see her in usual places for weeks but then look up and say oh, she's gone. Our sympathy...
ReplyDeleteKitties come into our lives, for special reasons...to comfort us and de-stress our busy lives. They make us slow down and appreciate the moment. I'm saddened by your loss. She will be missed. I have framed photos of all my past "comfort kitties." I guess that is one reason why I am laid back and live in the forest.
ReplyDeleteSorry for your loss Alan and Mark. At least Fat Kitty had a wonderful home for four years! RIP Fat Kitty
ReplyDeleteSo sorry Alan, but at least she waited for you to come home. It would have been so much harder if she passed while you were gone but she wanted to say good-bye and thanks for keeping me fat!
ReplyDeleteYou should put a picture of Marlina up on your blog along with the other passed-away kitties. You lived with her for over ten years even though she retired at my house up in Michigan for 4 years.
ReplyDeleteLove the past animals gallery! I miss mine more than some people I have known because they were more decent!
