Flowers

Last year I built flower boxes for the front of the house. I have to say, I did a pretty damn good job. They are sturdy, and I painted them to match the window trim. So proud, so damn proud. Yesterday, the liners for those flower boxes arrived via UPS. Mark ordered them early so that we won't have to go schlepping through all the home improvement stores looking for them later. One thing I learned is that I have to plant my seeds indoors early, (Flower seeds for all of you with dirty minds). If I don't do it this month, all I'll have in April are little immature sprouts. It's an exciting time, planning and planting for springtime. Almost makes what is happening outside right now tolerable.
