  3. Yes it does have artistic qualities I must admit. The young man looking fondly at the glass of wine. Is that a Beringer Chardonney 2006? Is it have full or empty. The photographer leaves that up to us to decide.

The image or "vignette" juxtaposed together with what appears to be a likeness of the devil peering at the young man while opening a bottle is symbolic.

Symbolic in the sense that whoever took this picture must have been having a glass of wine, set it down to pick up some dog poop, and then lifted his head to his amazement discovering a moment of artistic "vision." The symbol of Satin could possibly represent a bartender who tempts the young "innocent" into the art of "wining" during the festival of Saturnalia in ancient Rome.

And we all know who likes to "wine" or is that "whine?" hehe

  4. I think the glass is half empty. Why else would we be looking at this alcohol-induced picture.

Maybe Alan accidentally pushed the button on his camera while intending to take a pichure of Chandler but discovered this photo seemed artistic.

Great art. I'm making a screensaver out of it.

  5. That is not alcohol induced. It was only my second glass of wine.

  6. Like I said. Case in point. Some of the greatest art comes from those "induced" moments.

  7. by the way, anonymous #3...it's Satan...not Satin. Unless you meant to discuss the soft and silky fabric.

  8. Maybe Satan is soft and silky, and that is why he's so hard to resist.
