Photo Friday

More like video Friday.

I have owned five Studebaker's. I vividly remember the "Mr. Ed" show being sponsored by Studebaker. I only wish I could have bought a brand new Avanti in 1963, or a Hawk GT would have sufficed.

  1. I thought you were going out tonight, what happened?
I always loved Studebakers and wanted an Avanti when it was first introduced.
You know the first car I remember my dad buying was a Studebaker. I wish I had it now...D

  2. I went out at 7:30 and came home at 10:45. Is three hours of drinking not enough?

  3. I surprised that you are so coherent at such a late time and after several cocktails. Did you have a good time?

  4. My first car was a 1973 Chevy Vega that i bought for $1,995. in 1974. I think I had it for 2-3 years until I blew the engine on my way to the Detroit area. I use to drive there to go to the bars! I can't believe it!

  5. I was like Alan. I never bothered much about checking the oil.

  6. I loved Mr Ed and the Avanti. I was a little too young to have seen it when it first came out, but many years saw one and fell in love with it instantly.

My first car was a 1964 Dodge Dart convertible. Powder blue. I don't remember the size of the engine. I think it had 6 cylinders and it was automatic. I too wish I had kept this car. But, No. I had to trade it in on a 1970 Buick Skylark. My butch car. No comments.
