Photo Friday

 October 7, 1945
 The 1946 Cadillac, the first since before WWII, rolls off the assembly line.

 The Chicago Cubs lose to the Detroit Tigers
in game 5 of the World Series at Wrigley Field.



And a day later, on October 8, 1945 Raytheon filed a U.S. patent for Percy Spencer's microwave cooking process, and an oven that heated food using microwave energy was placed in a Boston restaurant for testing. 




They must have known you'd like one of those.
