Screw-Verse

Last night I was sitting in the big fluffy chair watching television and flipping around channels. Apparently at some point I hit the wrong button because a little green disc suddenly popped up in the lower right hand corner of the screen, and started spinning. I changed channels, but it was still there spinning away. So I turned the AT&T box off and then on. It was still there spinning. I started hitting every button on the remote. It was still spinning. No matter what I did it was still there spinning away as if the television had become possessed. So I did what I always do when this abortion called AT&T U-Verse screws up, I Googled the problem. I don't call AT&T, I don't go to the AT&T web site, I Google it. Googling is much faster and much more helpful. As soon as I entered AT&T U-Verse spinning disc into Google, pages and pages of other people with the same problem and the fix came up. Unfortunately the only way to rectify the problem according to the wizards on the internet, is to unplug the AT&T U-Verse box and reboot. Rebooting the system makes all the televisions in the house go off-line. In the bedroom Mark is watching another one of his stupid shows called Chrisley Knows Best. So I am stuck with this goddamned green spinning disc until Mark is finished watching some crap about a gay guy who doesn't know he's gay, and his Barbie Doll wife, and his five children. What I really find confusing about all of this is the five children. I mean this guy is a screaming queen and he fathered five children. Much more confusing than the spinning disc.

  1. Apparently gay men who want kids CAN "do it" with a woman. I know that because of my neighbors...each "married with children" but totally gay and involved with each other...talk of the neighborhood! Even their kids knew their dads were gay but the guys kept up a pretense.

  4. I don't hear anything good about Comcast either. I loved DirecTV other than the blackouts during rain (Florida=rain) and the high price.

  6. Anonymous and Kim, I know any horny man can do it to anything, but it's still confusing. (Marcus must have been really, very horny)
