  1. good lord, that's almost as much as my mortgage.

    hooray for cheap real estate.

you forgot to mention "no musicians" especially drummers and trumpet players...

  2. No snow, no ice, no freezing. The temperature right now is 78 degrees and sunny. Oh yes, and it's not in Wisconsin so you don't have to live near Packer fans.

  3. Well Russell, what do you think? Wanna be roomies again?

  4. In the same breath you mention felon, junkies and CHILDREN.This must be one of those over 62 adult only communities.Do you let grandchildren visit. Most senior communities like this don't permit the grandchildren in the pool. They may disturb the sleep of the other elderly.Did Denise actually leave on his own or was he put in a nursing home to make room for another senior?

  5. That looks like a lovely apartment, one that a person could live in for YEARS and YEARS. I'll bet pet sitting could even be included in the lease. What a good deal for a prime piece of real estate. Too bad I live 2600 mile away, I would scoop it up.

  6. Dave, actually there are children all over this neighborhood. That's why the old lady moved out (I don't mean Dennis). She couldn't handle the kids next door. I love when the family visits, I just don't want to rent to people with kid who will drown in my pool then sue me.

  7. Dennis, or Denise as Dave said, it is just as easy to move back here as it was to move to the bone dry, hot, inhospitable, desert.

  8. Davey dear, just remember...you are older than me.
Just get out of your recliner and try to keep up.
I SAID JUST GET UP OUT OF YOUR RECLINER AND TRY TO KEEP UP.

  9. In response to Garet... Ah, NO! Not that it wasn't OK at that time, but I am getting a good deal and prefer not fighting over who's turn it is to buy TP. Not to mention, where will we put all the cats?

Nice place Alan. But, you should have included a picture of the bedroom. I hope you find a good tenant.

  12. David, I'm glad you're still in the work force, I want my government checks to keep on coming in. If you're ever in the Southwest you would love the model train display at the Living Desert, it's amazing. Well, I better let you get to bed, Monday morning comes mighty early for you workers.

  13. What discounts are available? Like do you get a discount for watching your animals while you and mark are away? How about if one is "beach material?" Can one get a rent discount for various property management tasks such as landscape duties, trash removal, fixing and painting things, or nude sunbathing?

  14. Dennis, don't believe Dave about being in the workforce. He just told me he hasn't been working since July and is living off his wife like a gigolo!

  15. Lets have a new blog vote for Dave.

Do you believe Dave is still employed?

    Yes

    No

He's employed as the engineer of his model train.
